This posting will consist of mainly some movie film taken of Willows recent trip to Malaysia.
First step was to get everything into the car so we could get to the airport. A big box loaded with goodies was the main problem even though it was fairly light.
This was Willows very first plane ride but she was more excited with a ride up the escalators to the Departure area.
They plane left about 15 minutes late due to an earlier delay in Sydney but as we decided to stay over night in the Transit Hotel in Singapore it did not affect us. However if we had tried to take the last flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur then it would have been a very close call as we would have had to get off with the first mad rush of people.

The flight we had originally booked with Jetstar Asia was cancelled a few weeks earlier so we now left at a more respectable time near lunchtime which allowed us a more relaxed sleep. Changi Airport was busy with passengers coming and going. It was a short flight and within an hour we were over Kuala Lumpur.
KLIA Immigration was crowded with long long queues slowly crawling along, this was for those with foreign passports while there was a large empty area for Malaysian passport holders and all their special categories. After some complaints to an official those with babies were allowed to use the Malaysian Immigration as they large number of staff there had nothing to do as against those few on the foreigners queue.
A larger taxi was required due to the amount of luggage that the sundry store was carrying but eventually we arrived at our destination and Willow met some of her many Malaysian Aunties and Grand Aunties etc. then to eat which is very important in Malaysia!!

wow...the complaint was very effective huh :P or was it the accent that scared them off, lol :P
I was later reading Trip Advisor and there were many complaints about the new identification system Malaysia was introducing. They did not put on extra staff but the processing time was increased by them fingerprinting visitors but there was no consistency, not all visitors were finger printed and also some of the equipment had failed. On leaving Malaysia you are again supposed to be finger printed just to check that it is actually you. It was stated that at KLIA Immigration was taking an hour+ though only about 1/3 of the counter staff were working.
No I let Anne bail up the official, her Bahasia is a lot better!!
