Lim Guay Teng (林月珍 Lin Yue Zhen) (Cecilia) #1303, born Cir 1890 in Rong-tang (榕堂) village, County of Chaoyang 朝阳, Province of Guangdong, China (see note 30), died 29 November 1981 in Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia, buried Nov 1981 in Cemetery, Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia, baptized in possibly the Catholic Church, Guxi village, township of Liang-ying, County of Chaoyang 朝阳, China, emigrated Cir 1958 to Malaya. She originally came to Malaya around the mid 1930s to assist in bringing up the children and to act as a midwife to deliver Ong Swee Teik and probably others. She went back to China where she was very active in preaching Christianity having been converted many years earlier. With the Communist takeover and the banning of religion she continued with her work but with the threat of prosecution she returned to Malaysia around 1958 and lived with her son in law. She came from a better off farming background than her son in law.
